STANDING RULES
A standing rule is a rule that is made at a specific time and is to be in effect until amended or rescinded. No Standing Rule may conflict with the Bylaws. Standing Rules differ from bylaws in that they may be changed or repealed by a majority vote of the Executive Board in attendence.
Any situation or conditions not covered by the CWGC Bylaws, Standing Rules, Local Rules and Policies of the USGA will be resolved by the Executive Board or the Rules Committee. Any change to a Standing Rule by a Board member must first be approved by the Executive Board.
Rev. 8/24
